Labor and Parts Costs

Value Guard covers components within nine important assemblies against mechanical a failure even if it just wears out. Labor and parts are covered on the following assemblies:

Engine Transmission & Transaxle Front & Rear-wheel-drive assembly Air conditioning system Fuel system

Electrical, audio and computer systems Front Suspension Brake system components Steering system

Towing

Towing is also covered when necessary for covered repairs(limits apply).


Alternate Transportation

In the event of a covered repair under Value Guard, you're also covered when you need alternate transportation. GMPP Value Guard will pay the costs of public transportation or the costs of renting a replacement vehicle (limits may apply) whenever:

• Over two GM labor guide hours are necessary for the repair, or
• If your vehicle is not operable and must be held until the next day

Choose the Value Guard term that best fits your situation. You can chose from coverage based on anticipated years of ownership and mileage driven each year. Deductible choices range from $0 to $200, which means that you can reduce unanticipated costly expenses for covered repairs.

You can purchase Value Guard at any time while you are still covered by the standard GM warranty, but the sooner you purchase, the better the value.

Repair paperwork is non-existant, because your GM dealer will handle everything for you.

You can also enhance the value of your vehicle, because when it's time to sell your vehicle, for a small fee, you can transfer Value Guard to the new owner.
